ICT FACILITY

Intensive training will be given to the students on new modern Information & Communication Technology. The college has provision for multimedia projectors with laptops and LCD Projectors.

COMPUTER FACILITY

A separate computer laboratory is equipped with latest software in the field of education.

The systems in the lab are interconnected by means of network. Internet facilities are given to each system by means of unlimited broadband connection through network.

Computer Training Course

Computer training will be gained by the students through hands on training.

Students Can develop their knowledge to do specific tasks related to education. Our faculties train students to use the technology very effectively.

Digital English Communication Lab

The Digital English Communication lab is established and equipped with latest English communication software to give training to our students.

It is constructed with the aim of developing effective skills in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing in English to our students.

Teacher Eligibility Test Coaching (TET)

Coaching for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for all subjects are given to the students in our college by highly experienced competent faculty from Government and Government Aided schools. It is organized with the aim of placing our students @ teaching position in government schools.

GUEST LECTURES

Guest Lectures are provided on various topics like Stress Management, Learning Styles and Emotional Intelligence etc., which are related to life skills. Eminent Scholars and Experts in the field of education are invited to give talk on recent developments in education.

Alumni Association

The Alumni Association was formed in 2012. The objectives are to maintain live contact between our alumni. The general body meets on the second Saturday of April every year in our college premises.

Every student should satisfy the conditions laid by the National Council for Teacher Education and TamilNadu Teachers Education University, Chennai regarding the teaching practice session. They must attend teaching practice session in any one of the school at Virudhunagar district allotted by the Principal and must satisfy the teacher educator.

To guide and assist the outgoing students, a placement cell has been established for the students. Campus interview is arranged by the cell and students got placement in various schools.

YOUTH RED CROSS

"Service to the down-trodden is the service to God". In order to inculcate the serving mentality, Youth Red Cross has been formed in 2010. Subscription fee of Rs. 10/- collected from the students for membership.

Activities are

Conducting free medical and blood donation camps
organizing First aid training programme
creating awareness on blood donation, eye & organs donation and Disaster Management
Celebration of important anniversaries etc.,

RED RIBBON CLUB

The Red Ribbon Club was formed in 2010. The aim of the club is to create AIDS awareness among the people, promote the habit of blood donation through the members. Every year, a training program on "Celebrating Life" is conducted for the students to lead a healthy and happy life.
